Penycwm, meaning head of the valley, is a small village in the South West corner of Wales approximately midway between St.Davids and Haverfordwest. It is where I spent my teenage years and this series of photographs documents life in the village and the surrounding area. As you can see it is on the coast :-)

Although it is impossible to tell from this photograph, 'the cwm' is actually a rocky beach. Next door is a two mile stretch of sand known as Newgale.
